Did You Experience Hell in a Coma? I have identified those as a Fear Coma Experience (FCE). I Want to Hear Your Story.
Have you ever been in a coma and experienced terrifying, fear-based imagery that felt completely real?
Maybe you saw Hell. Maybe you were trapped somewhere, chased, threatened or surrounded by frightening people or entities. Maybe you experienced fire, darkness, danger or an overwhelming need to escape. And after you woke up, perhaps you wondered what it meant — or were afraid to tell anyone about it.
I want to hear from you.
I’m researching what I call Fear Coma Experiences (FCEs): frightening experiences reported by some people during comas caused by illness, injury, accidents, surgery or medically induced unconsciousness.
This is not a request for Near-Death Experiences. You do not need to have died, nearly died, seen a tunnel or light, or experienced anything normally associated with an NDE. I am specifically looking for people who experienced frightening or disturbing imagery while in a coma.
If this happened to you — or you know someone it happened to — please contact me or leave a comment. I would like to hear your story and, when appropriate, conduct an interview. Interviews can be conducted remotely, so location does not matter.
If you are in New York’s Hudson Valley, including Orange or Sullivan County, meeting in person may also be possible.
These accounts will help me collect additional data and continue developing the Fear Coma Experience framework.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “He’s describing exactly what happened to me,” please reach out.

Good morning. So, here’s a little side project that I want to get going today.
A lot of times when people are in a coma due to an accident, trauma, illness, injury, or because the coma was medically induced, they experience fear-based imagery. This can happen when someone is in a coma for just a couple of days, or even for weeks.
A lot of times, when people come back from these comas, they remember this fear-based, hellscape, scary imagery that was going on. After the coma is over, they don’t want to tell anybody about it because they tie together the coma experience with what they think about from religion. It becomes, “Wait a minute. Maybe that was telling me that when I die, I’m going to go to Hell.” Literally, people think that.
So, what I want to do is find people who have had these experiences. It could be you, if you’re listening to this, or maybe you know somebody who has had that kind of experience. Please reach out in the comment section or contact me directly.
I want to interview people, send them a copy of my book, talk to them about what happened, and hear their experience. Don’t think this has to be a Near-Death Experience. Set the whole Near-Death Experience subject aside. This is about comas and medical conditions only. It could be a car accident, illness, operation, or anything else that resulted in a coma. If the person was in a coma and experienced that kind of frightening imagery or something similar, I want to hear about it.
I’m in the Hudson Valley area of New York State, so if you’re in Sullivan County or Orange County, I’d be happy to talk to you face-to-face. If you’re on the other side of the country, or the other side of the world for that matter, we can conduct the interview through Zoom or something similar.
I’m on seven, eight, nine different social media channels at this point—I lose track. This is going up on my website, WinnerNDE.com, as well as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Medium, and LinkedIn. So you could be seeing this almost anywhere. On most of these platforms, there’s some way to send me a direct message, leave a comment, or otherwise contact me.
Just reach out and say, “Hey, yeah, you’re talking about me. This happened to me.” I’d like to hear your story.
Either way, please like, follow, and share. This is my way of collecting more data and more information regarding the Fear Coma Experience framework that I’m building.
That’s it for today. Thank you very much. I guess I’ll see you in the comment section. Have a fantastic day.
Want to go deeper? Don Winner brings decades of intelligence and investigative experience to the biggest question there is: what happens when we die.
In You’re Going to Die Someday, Right? Near-Death Experiences Reveal What Happens Next, he examines the evidence from thousands of near-death experiences to find out what they actually tell us about consciousness, the soul, God, and the afterlife.
In Hell Exists, But Only for the Living, he investigates where our idea of hell came from and who built it, tracing the doctrine back to its human sources.
