About Me
Don Winner is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with a 20-year career in military intelligence, where he served as a Korean and Spanish cryptologic linguist, signals intelligence analyst, and Special Operations SIGINT specialist, with assignments spanning Korea, NSA, DIA, Panama, the Middle East, and global deployment missions. He earned advanced degrees in International Business and Strategic Intelligence while supporting elite military units and national-level operations. After active duty, he worked as a civilian contractor across Latin America before becoming an investigative journalist in Panama, where his reporting led to the arrest of multiple serial killers and international media coverage. Following a return to the United States, he shifted into sales and later turned his focus toward deeper questions of life, death, and meaning - a journey that now informs his work as a writer and researcher exploring near-death experiences, consciousness, and the origins of belief.
