MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (Oct. 11, 2026). Author and near-death experience (NDE) researcher Don Winner will sign and sell both of his books at the Deer Park Holistic Festival on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 12 to 5 p.m. The festival runs outdoors at KOC Park, 759 Long Island Avenue, Deer Park, N.Y. Admission and parking are free. (Bold “Deer Park Holistic Festival” in this paragraph.)
Empowered Path Expos produces the event. If rain cancels the day, it moves to Sunday, Nov. 8, same hours, same place.
What to Expect at the Deer Park Holistic Festival
The organizers promise more than 100 curated vendors on the lawn at KOC Park:
- Healers and psychics
- Live music
- Food trucks
- Pet adoptions
- Family-friendly activities
Winner will be the only author at the festival. Look for his 10×10 canopy among the healers and readers, and bring your questions about what happens when you die.
The Books on the Table
Winner will have signed paperback copies of both titles:
“You’re Going to Die Someday, Right? Near Death Experiences Reveal What Happens Next” lays out the pattern in thousands of NDE accounts across cultures and centuries: peace, light, a life review, and overwhelming love.
“Hell Exists, But Only For The Living” traces where the idea of hell came from and why terrifying “distressing NDEs” come from a living brain in a coma, not from death.
Stock is limited at outdoor shows. Come early for the best chance at both titles.

Want to go deeper?
Don Winner brings decades of intelligence and investigative experience to the biggest question there is: what happens when we die.
In You’re Going to Die Someday, Right? Near-Death Experiences Reveal What Happens Next, he examines the evidence from thousands of near-death experiences to find out what they actually tell us about consciousness, the soul, God, and the afterlife.
In Hell Exists, But Only for the Living, he investigates where our idea of hell came from and who built it, tracing the doctrine back to its human sources.
